4.1 Glossary of Terms

This glossary provides official definitions for the core terminology used throughout the WeFi ecosystem. These terms reflect the transition from traditional banking to a modular, onchain financial infrastructure powered by WeChain.

Core Ecosystem Participants

Term
Definition

End-Users

Individuals utilizing the WeFi app for everyday banking, card spending, and wealth creation.

Builders

The core engineering force responsible for developing and maintaining the WeChain blockchain and foundational modular protocols.

Deobanks

Entrepreneurs, Fintechs, and Financial Institutions who launch services on the network using WeFi's infrastructure.

Custodians

Regulated entities that securely hold fiat, crypto, and real-world assets (RWA) via MPC protocols to back synthetic local currencies.

Architectural & Network Terms

Term
Definition

Deobank

A Decentralized Onchain Banking Platform; a financial institution operating at the intersection of TradFi and DeFi, using blockchain as its core accounting layer.

WeChain

The proprietary, high-performance blockchain network serving as the primary payment and settlement rail for the ecosystem.

Onchain Accounting Book

An immutable, publicly verifiable ledger recording every transaction within the ecosystem to ensure radical transparency and solvency.

Onchain Bank Account

The core banking product provided by WeFi to Deobanks, connecting to both traditional payment rails and crypto networks with Local (domestic) and Global (worldwide) variants.

Energy

A proxy unit created when $WFI is acquired and committed through farming. Indicates ecosystem engagement and product maturity to regulate token release. Cannot be withdrawn or sold.

Synthetic Local Currencies

Global currency units (USD, EUR, AED, etc.) anchored 1:1 to onchain stablecoin reserves, providing instant global liquidity.

AI & Decentralized Credit (DCS)

Term
Definition

AI Orchestration Layer

The intelligent management system that monitors the network for security, optimizes liquidity, and powers behavioral credit analysis.

AI Scoring Engine

The sub-module of the DCS that analyzes metadata—including interaction quality and repayment promptness—to calculate creditworthiness.

Loyalty Coefficient (LC)

A dynamic, behavior-based scoring system replacing traditional credit scores, determined by consistent engagement with the WeFi ecosystem.

Behavioral Capital

A personal onchain asset representing validated history of positive ecosystem behavior, used to unlock premium financial products.

Anomaly Detection

The AI-driven "Intelligent Shield" that identifies irregular transactional patterns to protect Deobanks and End-Users from fraud.

Mining & Tokenomics

Term
Definition

Cloud-Based Mining (CBM)

A resource-efficient algorithmic distribution model for the $WFI token, inspired by Bitcoin's principles of fairness and scarcity.

CBM Unit

A digital mining node providing access to second-by-second $WFI emission over a multi-year cycle.

Systematic Halving (SH)

A programmatic rule reducing the $WFI mining rate by 50% every two years to ensure progressive asset scarcity.

Mathematical Supply Control (MSC)

A mechanism that regulates token market release based on Energy levels as an indicator of ecosystem readiness and product maturity.

Vesting & Claiming

The 180-day linear release process for earned $WFI tokens, ensuring controlled entry of supply into the circulating market.

Payments Infrastructure

Term
Definition

Distributed Custody (MPC) Wallet

The default WeFi operational wallet. It uses Multi-Party Computation to distribute key shares, providing a Banking UX where regulated partners can sign operational transactions (like card payments).

Non-Custodial NFC Wallet

A "cold storage" solution for Generational Wealth. Private keys are stored on a hardware card, requiring a physical tap to authorize any movement of funds.

POS Software

WeFi-built software that connects third-party POS terminals to WeChain for processing crypto payments with zero fees. Hardware is provided by Deobanks.

ATM Middleware

Software layer enabling cash-in/cash-out functionality and CBM Unit activation through partner ATM networks deployed by local operators.

Vending Integration

Software for micro-payment processing and onchain inventory tracking, compatible with smart vending hardware from regional suppliers.

Mobile POS (mPOS)

A software feature transforming NFC-enabled smartphones into secure, compliant payment terminals for Deobanks and merchants.

Reverse Collateralization

A model where synthetic fiat units are anchored to onchain stablecoin reserves (the "new gold standard") rather than legacy bank deposits.

This glossary is a living document and is subject to updates as new onchain modules and AI-driven features are deployed to the WeChain network.
